How does she know it's a date?

So I have this plan for this girl I want to ask out - instead of awkwardly going up her and saying 'Do you want to go out with me' I'll strike up a conversation and say something like 'do you wanna go and get some coffee a little later?'. It's a really easy thing to do which hopefully she'll say yes to, but how does she know that it's a date and not just me asking her to have a drink with her as a friend? What do I do? Thanks :)

Make it more obvious the next time what your intentions are by asking her to something more like a date such as dinner/movies etc.

Ya, make it a little more than just going out to get coffee. She will catch on to your intentions if your asking her to something like dinner.

Asking her to other events might be more obvious. Also wouldn't asking her to go different places but like multiple times. Not about the same date, like keep asking her out on a date after the next and I think she might get the hint.
