It is normal, whatever is comfortable for you. I love doing it so if someone is looking I can pull shorts/pants against me tight so they can see my package.

I dont do this a lot but with some of my clothes I will, especially in the summer.

I guess I prefer to have something to help control random erections. I've had some issues with getting horny and leaking so I'd rather not have wet spots. Also the hygeine factor would make me feel like I needed to change my trousers a lot more often.
