Facial Hair ???

Hey everyone, guys my age (14 turning 15)

I am growing a few dark hairs above my lip (moustache) and a few right under my bottom lip and chin. So I went out and bought a cheap disposable razor and shaving cream to shave it off. Then I did and I have been doing this for a week or so. I have been doing this in secret so my parents wouldn't know.

My question is: should I tell my parents that I have been shaving my face because there is a part of me that wants them to know and the part suggesting not to. Because if I don't tell them, it might be too late and some time soon I'll have hair growing as sideburns and my parents would notice the shaved hair on my face. :what:

Why are you afraid to tell your parents that you're shaving your facial hair? I don't think it's that big deal to shave it.

When I was in your age my dad said me to shave it off and taught how to do it. So yeah I guess they know I shave almost every place on my body but I don't hide it. Why should I?

I shave my facial hair off every week, I think I was something like 15-16 when he said I should shave. Also cheap razors are bad you should get a good one with 3+ blades. I've one with 5 blades in it and it's whole lot better than cheap ones :)

just ask to your parents or tell your parents.. it's nothing special or to be afraid off to tell.

It just seems like a really awkward conversation. The shaving might lead on to another conversation topic like other things about puberty. I'm not ready to do that yet.

Mate there's nothing wrong that you shave your facial hair. You can tell your parent that you dont like to have the facial hair so u started shaving. It's not big deal. My parents know I shave my facial hair..they even bought me razor....so I think it's not big deal

I shave beard with electric razor...and I just trimm my pubic area...shaving ithes much

My pubic area itches right where the scrotum is attached to the body near the penis. Is that normal?

If it itches after shaving, I think that it's normal. Try not to shave some time and you'll see later if still itches.

Was it alright that your dad taught you how to shave? Did you or he enjoy it?

Yeah everything was allright after he showed me. Nothing became worse beacuse of this. He just wanted to help me and everything is ok now.

No I didn't have big talk with parents...They just suggested me to shave and I agreed. About things going down there, they dont care, they know that if anything would go bad, I would tell them or go to doctor.

They say like your voice is getting deeper, your getting taller, stuff like that.

Things like your voice is getting deeper, your getting taller, your penis is bigger...are all normal. These are just proofs that you entered the puberty.

I'm sure your Dad won't find it a big deal. Just tell him or 'accidently' leave your shaving cream where he will find it ;). Your Dad was your age once!

You should just let your facial hair grow until your parents notice and then maybe they will buy you a nice electric razor or good blades and shave cream and then your worries will be over. Your parents know you will be maturing sometime so if they don't already know then this will be a good signal for them to pick up on. Anyway that's how it happened for me.

If you've noticed it, chances are your parents have noticed it too. Even if they haven't, they would expect that this will be happening soon, because your dad started shaving at some point too.

I was embarrassed at first to to ask my mom for a razor. Just go ahead and tell them. I would probably just ask them to show you how to shave since they will probably wonder why you bought a razor and shaving cream in the first place without asking them to get it for you.
