I wish that people in America wore speedos to beaches all the time. I have never worn one myself, but I look at boys in them (to compare), and I seems that it would feel sooooo free. I don't want to be the weird one to be wearing one all alone. Does anyone wear speedos to beaches and houses and stuff, and where do you live at?

Yeah im from Australia and Ive worn them heaps of times. I was on the swim team so I have been comfortable with it for ages. no one cares, and heaps of people wear them to the beach :)

I'm from Australia and I wear board shorts. I feel like if I wear speedos then I would feel different to the other guys in my grade (10) because my genitals are quite small for my age and most of the boys are much more developed than I am. I would feel embarrassed if the speedos are tight and the whole area seems small compared to the other guys.

went to florida this spring, my family and a friend and his family and we bought speedos. we were the only boys wearing them but we both liked them much better than board shorts. more comfortable in the water and you dry off pretty fast.

I was on a swimming league for competition and they made us wear somthing like a speedo but they looked like shorts. The just fit really tight to your skin.

I wear speedos swimming laps at the Y and they are way more comfortable than boardshorts but I have to confess that I'm a coward. Even though I would much rather wear speedos at the beach I wear board shorts because everyone else does. We did a swimming unit in PE in 8th grade and went to the Y for it (no pool at school). Some of my friends knew that I wore speedos at the Y so they dared me to wear them for the class. My best friend joined me. We have single sex PE classes so it was just guys. The teacher never did say anything.

I use to wear speedos for swimming at school, got use to it but i wore it not by choice... but i do like seeing guys in speedos.

I live in Atlanta, go to a lot of different pools at people's homes and a couple pools associated with a club or require a membership like Lifetime Fitness or Windard Lake Club. I've never seen anyone wear a speedo at a someone's house or Lifetime Fitness. I know kids on the Windward swim and dive team, they'll wear speedos for competition or practice, but that's it.

I've seen guys on the swim team swim at people's homes or at Windward when they aren't training and they never have a speedo on. Same for the divers, but I don't personally know any of the divers.

Never worn one and the only time I've seen them at the beach was on a couple of really really old men.... Scarred for life.....

I'm a diver so when I go to the pool for practices and competition I always wear a speedo and so does most everyone else.

My two brothers and I , they are a year plus older than me, wear speedos to the beach and local pools. No one has ever said a word. Our parents buy them for us.

You have to wear speedos at my swim club and most of what I'd call the serious non club swimmers wear them too (i.e. the ones who use the lanes and can actually swim, rather than the guys who turn up to mess around).

In the public pools I've been to in france they actually ban beach shorts - i.e. you have to wear speedos. I think its because they want to promote it as a proper sports facility not just a play pool for holidays.

We only do nudist beaches but if I had to choose then I'd hate to have to wear shorts so I'd go speedo on the beach.

In UK we all wear shorts or just our boxers.. and speedos are so cool.. most boys wear them to swimming :D

I wear them all the time for diving. I have no problem with them, however when i swim at home, or go to the beach I wear board shorts. I've worn a speedo under them a few times though..
