I don't know where else to put this but...

So I just came from a party and we were having fun with drinks and everything, and one of my friends who is really popular stood up on top a keg and made speeches about random shit (he was drunk) like I said he's very popular and outgoing and everybody loves him, and out of all of his cooler friends he mencioned me, he started talking about him working out since last week, and then said here, my friend is (my name), is there, he is a boss and I was laughing with every eye on me and I didnt know what else he said.

Does it mean anything that he mentioned me out of all friends and cooler people at the party? IDK but i heard being drunk is the way to tell the truth... idk

Help?

Guarantee this guys never been drunk before^ anyway i think it means he thinks you are genuinely cool. He said it drunk words are sober thoughts. Unless he was being sarcastic probably right. Saying he shouldnt be drinking is besides the point

This has nothing to do with puberty. However it does belong to Family and Friends.

I'll never understand the fun and joy of being drunk.

But a drunk man's words are sober thoughts so they say, so just be happy he called you a boss and friend and not that you stick socks in your pants or something mean like that (:

It could mean a whole bunch of things, if you feel like your still confused just talk to him straight up, no harm in that right? What is your level of relationship with him?

As you are 15, I assume your friends are also probably around that age, which means you shouldn't be getting drunk in the first place. It is actually possible to have fun without alcohol, narcotics, and god knows whatever else you people take nowadays. I'm speaking from experience here.

As you are apparently 13 you probably have a whole load of different ways of having fun to someone 2 years older, but as you get older you'll find those things become less interesting. Sad but true.

As a consequence of this, teens look for other ways of having fun and if their community doesn't provide facilities then alcohol is an easy (if stupid) option. In the UK its a real problem we're constantly hearing about at school, but if they hadn't of cut funding to youth groups and other community projects a while back, it would have done a lot more to fix the problem than just lecturing everyone.

OP - sounds like he likes you a lot. In my experience some people get really emotional when they are drunk and let things out they normally would be more inhibited about.

Pahahahahahaha oh man, that made me laugh!

But like most everyone is saying he's probably being sincere, especially because, while drunk you have poor lack of judgement over your doings and what not, so im surr he wouldnt have said it if he didnt think it were true

Who knows. It's something that you'll have to talk to him about when he's sober to get the true answer.

A drunk mans words is a sober mans thoughts! Really you should be glad to have a friend like him. He sounds like a great guy, I've got a friend like him (he's the most loved guy in his year at school) me and him are like brothers but I'm like the guy you either love or hate. Not to sound cocky but I'm kinda popular(ish) but really everyone wants to be his friend and I'm best friends with him, makes you feel great! But away from the story sounds like he's a great guy! You should treasure his friendship!

Well first off no one should be drinking at these parties anymore!

Now it doesn't really mean a thing! It just means that he respects each of his friends equally! I mean I have had some of my "cooler" friends talk about me to their "cooler" friends. It's how you impact the persons life as a friend, that will make them wanna talk about you!
