Hello all,

My name is Mike and i am 15 and a half years old. My experience through puberty so far was not an easy one. I am a late bloomer, started 2.5 years ago. I am currently a student in Senior High School (1st class) and the building of my school is a middle school and SHS together. The problems start here.

Being a very bodily immature person I feel completely ashamed standing at the same height as kids 3 years younger than me. I have barely any facial hair (Just a bit of hair above my upper lip, which is not visible unless someone is really close), my face looks like a child's and i have no clearly visible body/arm/leg hair at all. My voice still cracks and i am the shortest kid in the class...

Here is where it gets weird. My penis and public hair are identical to Tanner's Scale 4, that means my public hair extends all over the groins and under my testicles and my penis is long and big nearly like an adults.

I have recently started to have a growth spurt, i grew several cm over the summer, but i am still far behind my classmates.

Can someone please shine some light to what the hell is going on? Do you face something similar? Is there anything i should be aware of? Thanks in advance for every answer.

~Mike

We're supposed to be close to our Dad's height when we're finished growing so keep that in mind and also its not really important at all if you have a young face.... I'd never think, oh he looks young I don't wanna be friends with him and besides youre doing very good in puberty in other ways.

Well pubert is a weird thing, but you've got to give it time. I started getting pubic hair when I was 7, I started getting armpit hair when I was 11 and I got facial hair when I was 12. The one thing I have not had yet though is a fucking growth spurt. What you've got to understand though dude is that things don't usually happen at the same time. You can start puberty early ( like me ) and several years later not even have a growth spurt. You can even start puberty late and be short, then grow a lot over a short time and be taller than most of the people in your school. Everyone goes through different stages of puberty at different times, so don't worry you will be fine. All you have to do is be patient and you will eventually grow taller and get more facial hair.

I have kind of the same problem. I am 14 nearly 15.
I have a little facial hair above my lip and a couple of dark hairs on my chin.
I have unshaved pubic hair (still growing) down there on my scrotum and groin area.
A bit of hair on belly if you look really close.
A few hairs on my right armpit.
Hairy legs and arms.
Bit of back hair and bum hair.
My voice is a bit high but cracks and squeaks regularly.
I am going through my growth spurt, my parents and family say I'm getting taller but still short at school.

Feel free to comment on any of this. I am comfortable talking about this with anyone! Please reply.

It happens to some people! You can keep growing until you are 18 or there abouts. Nothing to worry about.
