So there's been this continuous trend lately in my mind. Whenever I get REALLY depressed and sad and just bleh, I just want to get the dagger I own off my entertainment center and stab myself in the stomach. That's how I want to commit suicide if I ever got to the point. A few months ago I actually took it out of the case and put it in the possition to stab myself in... I just don't know what's wrong with me. And I have these SEVERE mood swings that I can't even explain. So um. Help?

I'm not really sure whats wrong with you, and um the only thing I do when getting depressed or angry is cut down a tree and focus all my energy on that. Just replant after. But I don't think you want to ever do suicide. Think of all the people that you will hurt and how they will react. And even if you do, don't go by stabbing yourself in the stomach, that would take like half hour for you to die and you'd still be conscious watching yourself bleed out and you'd be in a lot of pain.
Something you could do to try and stay happy is join a club, buy a game, join a clan for a game, get a hobby or many other things. Just don't ever resort to suicide. You said you have a dagger, if you want you could possibly use it and go out and practice bushcraft or survival. You could do witteling and many other stuff that practical and good uses for a dagger/knife.

when you get depressed and suicidal i think you need to find something to distract yourself , go out , listen to loud music , take a shower, go for a walk, talk to someone , anything to keep the thoughts out of your head and keep yourself busy and i know its hard but you have to try! and remember its just a feeling, its wont last
and i would suggest that you see a doctor about your mood swings and get the right treatment and remember your not alone and you are strong enough!

You should really talk to someone about this. Suicide is not the answer. When you get depressed you should talk to someone about why you're depressed.

The mood swings can be lots of things. Sometimes it's just depression.

You want to know something that's really important when you get that low? Distractions. Viv's already mentioned a few examples. Keep yourself preoccupied, and try to take your mind of it. I know that it's hard, sometimes it seems impossible, to get something that big off of your mind, but you can definitely do it if you apply yourself to whatever it is you're doing. If you've got an iPod, things like Angry Birds, or just video games in general. Music. Music is a good one. If you have a friend, or just someone, you can talk to, then talk to them! If you don't, there are still numbers that you can call to get help. (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showpost.php?p=1106146&postcount=2) I'm here, if you want to talk to me, then you can message me and I'd be more than happy to talk with you.

Is there something in specific that's causing you to feel like this?

When I have problems i talk with friends about it or go out with them to get in a better thinking of the world. Sometimes it helps a lot and it gaves me back the smile. Well I guess I have triggers. Like when I become really sad over something that has happened, or said to me, or when I remember something that has happened in the past that really hurt. And stress.
