Recently I have been thinking about what I really want to do, and I have figure that I want to travel around the world. I am unsure of jobs that let you tavel around the world and was wondering if anyone could help me. I also am unsure of the costs for school and stuff to get the job. I plan on going into the military to serve and to get money for college, so I think I might be good there. Jobs that I was planning on getting were Aerospace Engineering, possibly Biology, and not sure if I need anything else. So anyone help on jobs that let me travel the world would be helpful.

Flight attendant or something similar (y)
Uhm, lecturer/professor, if you work in the bio department of some uni then you can travel around and lecture.
That's all I can think of right now.

I'm not sure how to get to places, I mean probably just fly there, I didn't really want to become a flight attendent because they are only at places for a few hours I thought. I wanted to go to a few places for maybe a couple days to a week or more.

Eh...Hotel Inspector??? Critics???
I don't know many Jobs that allow constant travel. I means there are jobs that involve a lot of travel but those are only a day or two at most (sometimes will be longer but not likely). If you want to go into a job with traveling. I would suggest asking a careers adviser about what options you have as they would have a wide range of options that you can discuss and set you on the correct path.

I'll talk to my guidance person at the school. Maybe there isn't even a job that I have in mind. Maybe I'll just get a job as an engineer and maybe vacations I can travel then. I think that might be best actually, but I don't know, I'll ask someone soon...

I'm looking for the same thing really. I don't want to wait til I'm 60 something and retired to travel to other countries. Hell, I don't even plan on staying in the US. I'm thinking about moving to Chile, Argentina or Uruguay (I'd like to obtain full citizenship in one of these countries in the future) and going into business also. My college and post-college plans are still a mess right now, though. The tourism/travel industry could hold many jobs that would allow you to travel to other countries for periods of time. Knowing another language is valuable when you consider traveling to other countries. Maybe you could major/minor in a language in college. I'd recommend travelling abroad in college also.

I hadn't really thought about language. I'm not taking one yet, taking latin next year. Taking a language in college also? That might be hard. I wish college was free. I have no money and was going into military or hoping for a scholorship for college. Going to get an engineer probably aerospace or idk exactly major and a biology major if I can. I would really like to get a doctorate in one but that would be expensive. What about getting a doctorate in biology? Do you know if that lets you travel around more. Jeremy Wade is a biologist and has traveled all around the world and I don't see how. Maybe I'll do more research into that as to how he did. Right now I think a biologist seems funner and more interesting...

If you're on a professional sports team, you may get to travel!
Or, a flight attendant, cruise employee, a train engineer for a freight company or commuter rail all travel to various places.

I saw a story on TV that cruise ship jobs are hard because you have to work a lot of hours every day with hardly any time off.

Working on a ship or a plane might be the best option for travelling. You want to take engineering if you're planning to go into one of those. Languages is also an option you'd be stupid to ignore as travelling to different countries means people will be speaking foreign! Spanish or French are probably the most useful and the easiest to learn in my opinion. If you want any help, just PM me and I'll try my best :)

English teacher is a major travel job. Lots of countries where english is not a main language need natural speakers of english. They give you a visa, sometimes a place, and enough salary for small expenses no luxeries.

I have a cousin who is a freelance writer (and does some blogging) and travels all over the world (he also does a bit of local translating with fixers on the ground) he has been to some crazy places (recently Afganistan) but dont think he is well paid.
if you are good with languages, the State Department likes people in the diplomatic corps. I looked into the peace corps recently (i was too young).

Doctor, but of course, you would be traveling to poor countries to save lives and such which is not everyone's cup of tea.
