Where I live we have physical tests every so often. Does your school do this? And if yes what tests do you have? I have Pull ups, sit ups, timed mile, shuttle run, and pacer tests. That's all I can think of right now.

It's a state law in California, so yes :P

At our high school, though, it's odd... CA tests consists of Height and weight, push ups, sit ups, trunk lift, sit and reach, and the Mile run, but what tests are actually done depend on the teacher. The beginning of the year results aren't sent to the state, but the end of year ones are.

Ya we do have tests for fitness. The pacer, mile run, push ups, sit ups, and a few other exercises like how high you can jump are all part of it. Honestly the entire design of these tests is just pure dumb.

I don't take gym, but last year we had to do push up and sit up tests, as well as the twelve minute run.

We had to do it up to tenth grade and we had to do: flexibility test, timed mile, push up, sit ups,....that's it I think.

Old school did it twice a year, school I go to now does it once a month. Both of them did shuttle run, high jump, long jump, height, 5 minute run, hip flex, shoulder flex, push ups and sit ups. The old one also did wall sits and the one I go to now doesn't, which alone makes it worthwhile doing the tests once a month instead of twice a year.

You don't have to do the tests after grade 10, so this is my first year taking PE without having to take the fitness tests.
