My robotics class got canceled today. Our class was this: go to guidance offices and get schedule switched around. I took a free period (leave early cuz it's last period).

So my question is... Have you ever been in a class that has been canceled due to circumstances outside of your control? If so, what happened?

Our school had an "Advanced PE" class that had that happen this year. Well, that was for a different reason though--the teacher was so awful at it that everyone but two people dropped on the same day :P

I had my F period empty for about a week last while I went through a lot of rescheduling last year. Other than that, nothing un-planned.

I have Mondays, Wednesday mornings and friday afternoons off. These are the usual times for class to be cancelled. :P

I almost had JROTC canceled because we didn't have 100+ cadets in the class. The contract that you have to sign says that the school needs to have 100 cadets or 10% of the school.i think..

Uhm, kind of. In a drill to simulate what would happen if the school burned down, we were all told to stay at home and get our assignments in the various classes via email.
Other than that... not really.

My school had to get rid of Personal Finance at the end of last year, which I was signed up for, so instead of giving me a semester long studyhall on top of my other free period, or another class in place of that, they apparently got confused and filled not only the PF slot, but also my other free period. I had to wait in line for 45 minutes to get my schedule changed.

My government class got cancelled for a day once last year. The teacher had to leave last minute in the middle of the day, so my class just sat in the gym and watched the guys play basketball.

Yeah, I filled it with something else. It was just an easy subject but it would mean I would have another qualification under my belt.

I get really annoyed when this stuff happens but it is what it is.
