so umm... a mosquito bit me on one of my cuts that was still open. like still bleeding and stuff. now that its starting to heal its REALLY itchy and is swollen and red. should I see a doctor? I mean is it infected? thanks in advance.

It does not sound like its infected, unless the mosquito was carrying something (not trying to scare you), if you want the itchyness to stop use some vinegar around it and on it (dont touch the cut as it could burn as hell!), using cold or hot water may help (works), you can also wet a aspirin tablet and rub it around and on the bump.

Things which are meant to work but I never tried:
Toothpaste on and around the area of itchyness
Mouthwash
Deodorant
Mud :eek:
VapoRub
Nail Polish
Lemon/Lime
Rub the inside of a banana peel on your skin
Honey :eek:
Saliva

It happens to me sometimes, just use antiseptic cream and it will heal. :)

Just take care of the cut, the bite will heal itself. Dominik had some pretty good suggestions.

Exactly I think u should just get an alcohol swap and apply over cut ignoe the pain cuz ull be killing anything bad there,
