Guys Shaving Legs

A lot of guys at my school shave their legs even though it's not detrimental for sport or anything and I'm curious to know what you think of it. I was personally considering shaving mine as I have really hairy legs (naturally), though the effort to consistently maintain it could be a bit much. Idk. Still deciding whether I should or not.

I know many guys at my swim club do (or wax). Some don't touch their legs but I think its easier for a less secure guy to say its cos of swimming even if they want to try it for the look.

I personally think if you are hairy all over, don't try to be something you aren't - trim the densest hair so it looks neat like you've made an effort and leave the rest. I know some people like hairy legs, so one shouldn't assume that just because you don't like the look that a potential partner wont be attracted.

all the guys on the swim team do it...I personally love the look on a guy as long as it is done all over...looks silly on a hairy guy to have clean shaven legs :)

I don't shave my legs, they aren't very hairy (maybe a 4 on a 1 to 10 scale). But if they were as hairy as Imagine's, I would shave them in a heartbeat. It's my freaking body, and I'll do how I please with it, LoL. :)

A lot of swimmers at my school do shave their legs but other than I do not think many do. It is not something I really would ever see a need for as having somewhat hairy legs is just part of being a guy.

I do it because I like the smoothness of it. I've had extremely hairy legs for my whole life, and I love the change. I shave them every 3 or 4 days. You get used to the constant maintenance.

i would, but its not socially acceptable, if it was- i would totally do it. personally, if a guy did it, i would find it kinda hot- and it means he takes care of himself. would your friends find it that way? -probably not

so at the end of the day, i say stick with what you have leg wise, pubes are a little more discreet, but everyone sees legs...

I would never do that. I've never seen a guy with shaved legs and that includes the swimmers I know and the divers I don't know. Maybe they use a trimmer, idk.

Around here if a guy was planning on shaving his legs, he might as well plan on coming out on the same day. It is Atlanta, so it wouldn't be much of a leap.

There would be one exception. If through some kind of sports hazing they shaved your legs. Other than that, People here would think you're an effeminate gay guy. I'm not saying that's right, but it is what the fall out would be.

I have extremely hairy legs, the hairiest I've ever seen before. I get gawked at by pretty much everybody and get lots of comments about it. But I still wouldn't ever shave, I think that's just a bit odd.
