Homecoming

Im a freshman, and I really like this girl. I know she likes me, and we're both kinda crazy about each other. Pretty simple that I should ask her out, right? She just broke up with one of my close friends, Dylan. They both wanted to break up, and they didn't talk at all over the summer. I know hat he would be cool if her and I dated, it's just 1) I don't know if 2 of my other friends would, because he's their best friend, and 2) because they just broke up, I don't want people to think that I'm the rebound guy and that she's the type of girl to have a rebound guy (she's not). Homecoming is in October, I think mid, so my question is: should I ask her to be my date for homecoming (and are freshmen even allowed to go)? Thanks!

Just ask her out to homecoming! It doesn't have to be like your asking her to be your gf! It's a simple hey you wanna come to the dance with me? So go ask her! ANd you don't need to be fancy about asking too!
