I have experienced sexual abuse, physical, and emotional abuse. BUT. The one that really sticks with me is the emotional one. I have dealt with said abuse for 12 years while my mom was married to step-dad, and they recently got divorced. I am having trouble dealing with the anger of it all. I also feel ugly and worthless from the sexual abuse I went through from my cousin at a young age. The physical, I have more or less gotten over because it got taken care of a long time ago. I really need help in getting over my anger and insecurity, but I don't know where to start.

This isnt my area of much knowledge but Ill do my best... Since your saying its emotional abuse that is causing the most problems, find someone you can trust and just talk to them about it really is good to do. Basically let it all out... Seriously it can help alot. If your mom will take you, see if you can get into therapy too if you are still having problems with it. And if not, try maybe talking to a school councilor, being they can help too even if a little at first. Every little bit counts to getting things put back together.

Thanks so much! I can't talk to a councilor since I do not attend public school anymore. But I will find someone to talk to about, because the anger has been controlling my life a little, making my relationship with my mom even more. And thanks so much for the advice.

Living with my abusive brother for my entire life (he put me in a coma for 2 weeks, gave me permanent eye damage, broke my hand, fractured my other hand and constantly calls me gay, faggot and all that, although im not gay -,-) I found out that the best outlet for anger is not punching him when he least expects it, but exercise (sounds dumb I know), when you have that flow of energy that you just want to take out on someone, just do some exercise, it really helped me and it got me in a better shape than I was 2 months ago :)
