I'm 17 and I have a hard time talking to girls in person. It's not that its girls that I like but any girl even a female teacher. I know the reason behind it and I've been thinking about it for nearly three years now. Most girls seem to stick with the stereotype that all guys are a like. I know this isn't the case for all girls but you have to admit it is a stereotype that occurs. And, I know I do not fit in this category of a guys who are a like. I think like a girl.. and I feel more comfortable as a girl. (Yes I'm getting at MTF) There has been a lot of thought about this but I need to know if anyone thinks like I do or if any girl has any suggestions to talk to a girl. I honestly don't think most girls would understand if I went up to them and said I'm like you and understand you completely. Please help, Thanks to all who post.

Not sure how old you are but, I'm assuming that you go to college/school or in some type of education still... Best and easiest thing to do would be to just go and sit with someone and strike up a conversation. At the end of the day all you need to do is find someone you have something in common with.
Or even if you're in a big group of people, just join in with the conversation, it's the best way to go and it's how I've been surviving the last year (and will be surviving this coming year) at college (in a class full of guys and I'm the only girl).
Girls may seem scary, but trust me, the majority are massive teddy bears once you get past the bitchy stages.
Hope this helps you, even if it is only a tiny bit and I'm sorry if it doesn't help at all
