This is cool, and a little scary. Which is part of why I like this story.

There's no way you could fire a printed gun more than once, if even that, for a LOOOONG time. People give 3D printing technology way too much credit, when all it really does is take a day to make a piece of junk plastic.

I'm just amazed at how technology has evolved. I remember when I was younger and the most sophisticated printer was the one that could print, copy, scan, and fax all in one. Now you can print guns and shit? It's crazy.

I wouldnt shoot if y life depended on it. if it aint made of metal it will brake alot faster. Until they refine they will probably have constant problems with it.

There is no difference between buying a gun or printing one. Either way you are obtaining a firearm. Not to mention 3D printers use plastic. The average pistol/rifle round when fired produces 45000-50000 puonds of outward pressure. The gun would blow up and not be functionable. Im not worried about this at all.

Well then why even make the gun at all? The lowers of a gun are cheep to even buy. I can go online and buy a glock lower for $99

Besides the trigger assembly (on polymere frame pistols) most of the lowers of a pistol are polymere plastin and are made in bulk with a mold.

Same concept. You would still need a barel, trigger assembly, reciver assemble incuding bolt, firing pin+action and other misc. parts

Yes i know it can, but in the end it will be as much money as a normal rifle. And when your talking polymer, a rifle can be very cheap.
Im done here i dont feel like waisting my time arguing with you. You never stop

Im not argueing you started it. i would rather by a rifel made of metal than wood. I hate plastic guns with a passion thats why i hate Glocks.
