Hi, I am 14 and gay and I have never had a boyfriend. I was wondering what age other people were when they had their first boyfriend.

Well 14, pretty young! Don't be intimidated by teens already having a relationship with someone! You don't really need a relationship that young, I say 16 is a really good age limit to start dating, since you can drive (hopefully at that time), can get a job, get money to do stuff, ect. But if you want a boyfriend, you need to start opening up and looking around, especially it's probably going to be hard finding another gay guy, since usually they are quiet and don't want to be out yet.

When i was in 5th grade i dated a girl someone up until 7th grade. And so did a lot of other people. So i dont think its to young to date at 14.

I met my b/f when I was 13, he was 14. We became b/f's when I was 14 and him 15. Wasn't planning on it or looking for a b/f but he's awesome and there's no one I'd rather be with. Will it last? Who knows, but we're in love with each other now and we're so happy.

I met my first bf when I was 9. we were best friends and things kinda developed from there. we "officially" became boyfriends when we're 14. It was a weird situation and didn't end well. So don't be in such a rush. When the time is rt you will find the rt person.

17 for me (15 for my bf). From what I hear at school anything around 15 for gay guys is not unusual, but my school (and I guess my area) is gay friendly. So I could see less acceptance making it harder to find someone. I didn't really want to date someone for the sake of it as I admit I was really cynical about the relationships I saw around me (i.e. most dont last, are a lot are only about sex or social status rather than love).
