Wow, Iris. This is really stunning work. The photo of the canoe on the lake is fantastic! It's great compositionally and the effect the sunset creates by making them silhouettes looks awesome with the background. I also like the one of the butterfly (or moth?) a lot. As with all of the others, your use of focus is great, but I find it especially good in that photo in particular. You know how to work your camera very well!

I'm so glad you like them :). Lots of people like the canoe photo, it seems. It was great luck that the canoe passed right in front of me just as the sunset reached its peak. And yeah that's a butterfly, not a moth. The butterflies near my college are really tame. I kept getting closer and closer to get better shots and it barely twitched. After I finished shooting, out of curiosity I reached out to see how far it would let me go; I was able to touch it. It's incredible. Anyway thanks so much :) I appreciate your opinion.
