I would recomend you Peter Bjorn and John (all their song are amazing!), Franz Ferdinand, Phoenix, She & Him (Zooey Deschanel's band), The Strokes, Two Door Cinema Club, Cage The Elephant, Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden (these last two can be considered grunge), Radiohead, Best Coast, Ok Go, Muse (alternative rock) and Lana Del Rey (indie/pop, I personaly LOVE her, but some indie fans dislike her).
