Too late to the catch!

A couple of days ago, I saw a girl on the bus that I was almost instantly attracted to. I had trouble pulling my eyes away for fear that she'd look at me and think I didn't notice her, and yet I didn't want to seem creepy. Later on, when I decided to move closer, I heard the conversation she was having with someone next to her was about new buses in Seattle over old buses. I interjected and added the tidbit that the voice on the new buses was Siri, from the iPhone. She was interested, and we started a conversation.
I decided to pass my stop by 3 miles because I wanted her phone number.
I got the number, and we went out to a park a week later. I played around with her little sisters, who kept callin' me weird and running away. They didn't realize I can parkour like a motherfucker.
Anyway, I thought it as an unspoken date.

She told me three days later that she was busy because her boyfriend was coming over.

Fak.

Sounds like you've been friendzoned.

But ... keep her as a friend and a) you have a friend (which is always nice) and b) boyfriend may screw up (and probably will at our age) and you could be there to console her. Sounds sleazy maybe, but if you genuinely care for her then just be there and be a friend and what happens, happens.

I wll agree with tiger above, it does sound like you have been dropped into the "friendzone".

I think that you just need to chill with her and be friends as she does sound like you two have a lot in common and trying to medal in other peoples affairs is a risky buisness and can back fire quite a lot of the time and you don't want to ruin your entire friendship now do you?

However, stay positive and friendly as you never know what tthew future holds do you?
