Having a boyfriend shorter than you?

Hey girls!! This guy that I like is a lot shorter than me by 5+ inches. Yes he's short;p. so is it weird to date I guy that much shorter than u? Cuz idk I think it's awkward. We're friends and all but it would look really strange. Any advice?

It's not really weird. But honestly, personally, I would never date a guy shorter/younger than me x] I hardly even date those with the same age as me.
But if you truly love him you shouldn't let a insignificant thing like height affect your relationship with him. I've seen alot of couples with tall girls and short boys. The girls even seemed to be proud of their relation.

Don't worry I have a boyfriend like WAY shorter than me but I'm pretty tall and he's really short do that doesn't really help lol but I personally don't think it really matters If u like him than his height shouldn't get in the way :)

We have two sets of family friends. One pair the guy is really skinny and short, his wife is v. huge : I can't begin to see why they'd be attracted on looks, but obviously its more than appearances.. The other couple its jut the wife is supermodel build (and pretty) so I can more understand that one.

I guess they are all pretty happy about it because they're married and stuff : it can work, and I'd really NOT worry about it 'looking strange' to other people. Love you who love, and screw what other people think.

My friend had an relationship with a shorter guy. She really didnt seem to mind but he did. The relationship didnt last very long. I think the issue was his friends harassing him about it. You have to be comfortable with it.

Fuck what other people think. If you like em...date em. It looks funny sometimes when you see it but I'm sure there are people out there that think an interracial or gay couple is strange. In the end it's up to you whether you let your happiness be determined by other people's opinions.

I can't even begin to imagine asking a taller girl out (and most of them are my height or above I'd say). Somehow my height is just a killer for my self esteem since only few of my friends are the same height as me atm.
Plus, the high heels and whatnot factor add more to it.

Like most others, I don't think height should matter. it's personal preference. I imagine it would be hard to kiss someone way shorter though!
