personally im for greenday!
i think they have done so much more for music than 1D has, and are just a all round better group

Billy Joe all the way. Personally, I rather like Green Day, but that's not what's important. Green Day actually writes their music, while One Direction has other people write their own lyrics and then has entirely separate people write and record the music behind their shitty voices.

i know i agree, i just know.. sadly there are a lot of 1D fans out there and i just wanted to see if there was still some hope in humanity!

Their fans are mostly girls. Girls like them because they're British, and of course because they're cute and good looking. I have nothing against them, and i think "what makes you beautiful" is a catchy song, but it's really not kind of music i admire and listen to every day.
