I don't think sanctions really work. They hurt everyone in the country, especially some of the poorer people most of the citizens are completely innocent. The sanctions don't really hurt the people in charge.

I don't think Israel should attack Iran right now. If they get attacked, then they should defend themselves, but they should be the ones to start a war.

If Iran was to nuke Israel think of the radioactive fallout, it would spread to countries like Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt and maybe Saudi Arabia, if they were to nuke Israel the fallout would hit the other nations, which aren't as prepared for fallout as Israel is, and Iran would lose the respect out of most of the middle east. I do think they are capable of making nukes, they probably will have them by next year at latest, but their missile delivery program is still a few years behind, so remember that. They want the bomb because then people will respect them more (out of fear) because how many nuclear nations get "picked" on?

Iran won't nuke Israel I'm pretty positive, the backlash would be too great, but I suspect they are more likely to get the nukes, coerce other nations into getting resources and such and build a larger land force to invade israel, if they haven't already built up a massive army.
