Ok so there's this girl who I really like. Anyway her friends said she likes me but when one of my friends asked her on facebook she said only as a friend. We talk sometimes but never like a serious conversation just having a mess chat. What do you think?

Anyway if that is the case. Well to be honest if she says she is not interested then sadly you have to take that as her finial word. Friends of friends usually spread a lot of crap about others. Sadly it is just the way things go. I have always found that friends take a large interest in other peoples relationships and tend to spread lies about who there friends like. However, since the actual girl that you like says she only likes you as a friend, I would take that on the chin and accept it.

I know it can be hard but since she said she does not like you in that kind of manner, well I think you just have to accept that.
