Change Eating Disorders to Eating Disorders & Weight Issues

Or something along those lines to include weight issues.

I don't think so. But I guess Eating Disorders & Weight Issues is Ok... But don't jest call it Weight Issues.

Well obvously thats not a final name, but it's more a suggestion to include the weight issues. Thanks for your opinion though.

It was that before, but it reverted somehow.

I vote yes, and I think Weight Issues is fine.

I like Eating Disorders because it's a a clear short name. I think Eating Disorders and Weight Issues is too long of a forum name and I think Eating Disorders covers weight issues enough and there hasn't been any confusion to require a change.

I would prefer a new forum description over a new forum name.

Yeah a new decription would be good. I've mainly brought this up because i've seen a few weight topics in the puberty forums.

Indeed. A lot of people seem to think that since they don't suffer from anorexia or bulemia or other such disorders they shouldn't post in that forum. I think a new description would suffice just fine.

That would be good. I think a general nutrition and weight loss sub-forum would be better.

Well not necessarily weight loss

The name change seems to be targeting issues of obesity rather than anorexia, as it is already obvious that the forum is intended for issues with anorexia and bulimia. Maybe create three sub-forums, one for general nutrition, one for anorexia and bulimia, and one for obesity?

But then you're assuming that the only eating disorders that need to be addressed are anorexia, bulemia, and obesity.

There are many others besides those

I don't think adding sub-forums would be a good idea because I don't think there'd be enough activity to accommodate the expanded Eating Disorders forum.

Fine, General Nutrition, Weight Gain Disorders, and Weight Loss Disorders.

Fine, General Nutrition, Weight Gain Disorders, and Weight Loss Disorders.

Why don't we just put those in the description for clarification and be done with it? It's easiest and gets done what was originally asked for.

Whatever. Just shooting for maximum clarity. I'd like to compile a general nutrition sticky for it with examples of healthy diets.

How about "Weight Issues" then in the description, "Weight loss, eating disorders, and other weight related issues."?

Something along those lines.

I think Eating Disorders and Weight Issues is too long of a forum name

Well "The White Padded Room" is somewhat of a long name and we deal with it...

Also I think that its a great idea. It will make it a little more general yet descripitive.

if you make it about weight issues it will just be obese kids asking how to loose weight(stop fucking eating so much, fatboy.)
