I'm like a universal MM fan, who thinks there was a golden age but doesn't severely hate anything (post)Golden Age of Grotesque. But I do miss pre-Grotesque Manson. He's a bit of a joke of his former self now. Still a genius, still not Coldplay.
Yeah, he's coming around here in October as well, but he's going to a venue that holds fucking 19,000 people. I'm not a mainstream fan, that'll be easily ten times the size of any venue I've ever been to. Just to get a fucking seat versus lawn is $80. That's how much I pay for being front-centre at four concerts. And I'm pretty sure he's horrible live nowadays but it's still on my bucket list. So I guess I'm not meant to see him quite yet. But I'm going to the Birthday Massacre/William Control concert instead :3 (well, I've got tickets to four concerts in the fall already anyway).

He is one the most inspirational people on earth! I was raised with his music. The first time I saw a music video form mister Manson was The Nobodies, when I was 9. I was scared but in the same time fascinated. I continued listening to him later on and I loved it.
I love his art. I love him. I love his music. Nuff said!

He's pretty good. I like some of his songs, but others leave a bad taste in my mouth. He's certainly original though, and I like that about him.

I like two of his songs. Arma-Goddamn-Motherfuckin-Geddon and his cover of This Is Halloween. Other than that, I think he's shit.

Your Queen has arrived.
Hi, my name is Beth and I'm a Marilyn Manson-oholic.
I love him. I love him a lot. I love him and his music. I have a thread about him in my diary where I express my love for him more thoroughly.

Wow. Looking at the comments, I was always a firm believer that liking his new albums was the minority let alone exclusively his new albums. :O
You learn something every day.
Well, there's Beth. Nice to know I'm not so alone (and Salt's a fan too, I know).
I've gotten by looking at old and new Manson as two different people. Or maybe personas as they're not too different. But that way, I'm less bitter about how great he used to be compared to nowadays. :3 Like I said though, still not Coldplay!
I do say I resent the last three albums yet I belt High End of Low in my car for it's singability (new word). But my favourite is the "prime three" I'm calling it, the trilogy Antichrist Superstar (which actually took a long time to like beyond two of my favourite songs being on it), Mechanical Animals, and Holy Wood (the latter two being tied for a spot on my top ten albums of all time).

Rubbish live. When I saw him he was drunk and probably stoned, singing out of tune, rambling incoherently about something and then he stormed off stage before the concert ended. None of us got a refund.

I really love some of his songs, and others I just don't kind of get in to. I thought Golden Age was excellent, but for everything else, I could do with a greatest hits album.
