I am so fucking sick of it. For the last 8 months, I've been depressed, lonely, hating myself. My best friend and I had a big falling out, and it destroyed me. Last week, everything seemed back to normal, she was joking around with me, and it seemed like everything was going to be okay... But then I told her exactly how I've been doing, how mentally sick I've been... She went through that herself, she's always tried to help others, and I thought I could trust her again. Nope. She won't speak with me. We both just left for college, so she can effectively avoid me, and I don't have any friends here to distract me... I'm so fucking sick of it. I thought I didn't have to care about her opinions, that maybe I didn't have to hate myself... But when you confide in someone, and they fucking ignore you whenever you try and speak to them, how can I not hate myself? I WAS SO CLOSE TO BEING HAPPY!!! :''(
i cant do it anymore...

How can you hate yourself for something she did? We all have gone through depression and yes it hurts. It hurts a hell of a lot worse when that one outlet leaves you, but that doesn't mean you quit. You keep going. You can talk with me or whoever you find suitable to talk to. We can be the one you confide in. We're on this site to help. ^_^

We all have gone through depression
Uhm, no. Not everyone has. And not necessarily to the degree that the OP has either.
OP, some friends are terrible. But you need to remember that just because someone else is a shit friend and bails on you, doesn't mean jack shit about who you are. Her bailing on you has made you unhappy, for obvious reasons, but all it does is show that you are so much better than her. Because we all know that you wouldn't bail like that if someone needed your help.
You can beat this, love. Keep fighting

Kind of making assumptions on her friend there aren't you? She said that her friend has gone through the same thing, maybe she is going through that right now and can't handle it. So she left. Yes everyone has gone through some sort of depression. Maybe over losing a game, losing a family member, losing money, ect. It's still a form of depression. Regardless of how big it is.

She was a great friend, and I'd like to believe that she does care about me. And it's not her fault, it's all mine. She should be able to choose who she wants as a friend. I'm the one who keeps coming back. She's been more then tolerant of me, and frankly, I'm to blame for being unable to get over losing her. A good friend wouldn't disclose all of those problems onto someone like that. Its no wonder that she left again.

Life is a crazy ride with lots of twists and turns, all you can do is hold on. People can be idiots and your friend must have been one to turn their back on you in a time of need. Just hold on, because after a period of shit good things emerge. Don't let stupid people get in the way of you living your life to the fullest. Good Luck
