So what's the secret to getting a smooth shave down there? So far I keep getting left with a bit of stubble. The stubble's a lot sharper than full length hair so it keeps irritating my thighs.

Pull the skin tight and shave as close as you can.

Just make sure to get the skin tight and flat as possible. This was my issue before and I switched to just trimming and I really like it.

I use a Mach 3 razor. Best bet is to shave in a hot shower, that way the skin is nice and soft. And use light strokes, otherwise you run the risk of cutting yourself.

i had the same problem that is why i just trim close now instead, but hot showers and pulling the skin tight is supposed to give a better shave

So you're going to need a couple of things to get it as close to 'perfect' as you can.

1] A 3+ blade razor
2] Some shaving cream. REGULAR none of that cool feeling either as it can travel down further and make yours balls hurt a bit.
3] Time

So first; Get naked or whatever you do, apply some warm water to make the area softer to allow smoother cutting.
After that apply the shaving cream. Apply it in circular motions while moving upwards.
Then you take the razor, and if you can pull the skin tighter. You need to shave downward. Repeat this several times. [/COLOR]

Note: If this is your first time shaving I suggest that you trim the area down before going straight to shaving to reduce any accidents and to make it easier.

i find it smoother when you shave in the opposite direction the hair is growing. but you gotta do it slow so you dont cut yourself.
