Paper and a good selection of graphite pencils is definitely one of my favorites. But I'm going to have to say that it ties with watercolors, because painting with them is so fun and I feel like I like my work better (and more often.)

Graphite for drawing. Really want to get those charcoal pencils. I want darker values without reflections. I might even improve once I get those, I think.

Acrylic wasn't bad on water color 230 gsm paper.

MONSTER MUD! It's drywall joint compound and paint mixed together, about a 5:1 ratio, then you coat a fabric with the bud and place over a PVC dram with chicken wire body to hold it up, here is a pic from far away of the frame. It has a little burlap hanging over it cuz that was the fabric of choice for me

A decent selection of graphite pencils and paper, though I usually use mechanical pencils..charcoal's cool too, and kinda makes me feel cool when my hands get all messy from using it :P
