ok i am restroing a 1971 chevy c 10 im about ready to paint the motor i bean thinking about paiting it chevy oragne but reilly dont want to im painting my truck two tone red and white like the older retro trucks look like. i want to paint my motor red and the engine coparment black is that so bad?

Im not a Chevy guy but earl 70s Chevys were to bad. And for a 2 tone, red and white truck with a orange engine... doesnt sound to bad really.

id do the motor orange, and pick one color from your two tone to do the engine compartment.
