Friend/Girl problems?

Hey guys you been alot of help so thanks for that. So my friend was dating this girl that now i have feelings for, a week or two ago they broke up so i took a shot and she likes me also here is the problem my friend now wants to kill himself because she wont take him back and yes he know i like her. Does this make any sense? i really need your help. please leave a comment down below. Thanks!!!!

Well I may and may not make sense being how close they were or not... But just keep a eye on him and make sure nothing happens... Im not much of a help here sorry :/

That's a manipulation and control tactic.
And is something horrid for your friend to do.

Tell an adult he's threatening himself AND his ex-girlfriend. If he's threatening to kill himself, over a girl, then the next relationships will be hell on his life and he needs help.
If it's empty words, oh well he needs to be taught not to do shitty things like that. If he truly meant it, you saved your friend's life and hopefully future girls from feeling like their obligated to stay with him for the rest of their lives or until he ends it, the relationship that is.

He's trying to control his ex via guilt. Sit her down and tell her she is NOT responsible for his life, she is NOT obligated to bow down to him, he is responsible for himself and cannot force a relationship back. She does not deserve this, he does NOT deserve her. She will get herself into a huge mess if she were forced back by this.
Also don't let yourself be swayed by this. It's not your fault, do NOT let him pressure you into backing off of her just because he's threatening himself and her, you're also NOT responsible for him.

Two people stay together because they work together and love each other. Not because one's threatening to hurt themselves/others.
