I recently bought an original copy of The Who's "Tommy" in excellent condition, which got me thinking about the wonderful world of vinyl records. Are there any other vinyl fans out there? Casual listeners? Enthusiasts? Determined collectors?

I used to have a collection of authentic vinyls of some of Elvis Presley's singles. Unfortunately I didn't have a decent turntable so I couldn't listen to them. Once me and my family moved we left those behind, sadly :/

I usually try to collect standard 140 gram and audiophile 180 gram LPs. I recently bought the first album from Soft Machine on a 180 gram reissue/remaster. Wonderful gatefold packaging too. The prize of my collection, however, is a promotional copy of Phil Collins' "But Seriously" album.

I'm a collector. I have a Judas Priest record, a KISS record, a Queen one, the Goonies soundtrack and a couple others. I love them, but they're so expensive here :/

I got a bunch of old 45s from my parents, some of my favorites are Fly Like an Eagle (Steve Miller), Bennie and the Jets (Elton John), and something by Rod Stewart that I can't remember off the top of my head.
