If this is in the wrong forum, apologies, I couldn't think of where else to put this. So I was wondering, do you think it's possible to train your body to respond to something sexually? For a while, I had been watching gay porn, for what reason I don't know to be honest. However, I started watching straight porn again and I find I prefer it but I get aroused easier by gay porn than straight. To clear the record, I am straight. I have curious moments but I have never liked guys or been into dating/being sexual with guys. Only girls. However, on the computer guys can arouse me. I have talked with some guys on Kik before and swapped pics but that is the extent of what I've done and even that I only did one night and the reason for it was because I couldn't find any girls lol :p

So I guess what my real question is; do you think I have trained my body to respond to gay porn over straight? Due to me having watched it for an extended period of time?

Habit - you like what you like and if you have gay porn more so than straight.

I think with young guys its a lot to do with the responses to our own curiousity -- That does not make you gay bi straight or anything else you are what you are.

So you can either enjoy the gay porn in the moment and know your own preferences to actual sexual attraction for real.

Our sexuality is or can be very differant from the fantasy we may use or porn we watch in the moment of masturbation.

I think it's possible to train your self sexually. I used to HATE watching girl on girl..or even men when they went down on girls. It just disgusted me, BUT one day I just watched two chicks go at it for the whole scene and ended up exploding..if you know what I mean. While I can understand your reason for being skeptical, you would have to be me and understand the way I feel in order to judge what I should count on in regards to my sexuality. While guys in porn and the very few that I've talked with through Kik may arouse me, girls do just as well. It just seems to take longer. I don't have a "fear" of being gay, It's more my mass jumble of confusing sexual response that frightens me more than anything. While I may be scared, it is not of being homosexual, it is the whole confusing process.

If you were to ask me what I truly think in my heart my sexual orientation is, I would answer either straight or bisexual with a preference towards girls. If I understand correctly, being gay means that you have ZERO attraction to females. This is not my case. I am quite attracted to women, and I want to live my life and be with a women and have relations with a woman. I don't want that with a man. To me it seems that it's my hormones doing the thinking when I'm watching man on man.

Either way, I have decided to not worry about it. It is what it is, whatever "it" may be, and I am entirely accepting of it. Even though "it" is not clear to me at the moment. I am going to enjoy my flexible, decided thats what I'm going to call it, sexual preference for now and when I've matured a bit more (only 14 if I hadn't mentioned), I will look into myself and see what "it" really is.

I don't know but there was the experiment, by Pavlov I think, in which he rang a bell just as he was about to feed some dogs. You cant train your body to do anything, you are who you are. Maybe you do like dudes but don't like the idea of experimenting in real life. You should find a friend willing to try then make your mind up.

In porn, sex is sex. So whether it's two guy, a guy and a girl or two girls, I'd say it would be normal to get aroused at your age. If you're thinking about whether this means your gay, it's unlikely.

I'm a psychology major so I can tell you, you can condition (train) your body to do anything. It often takes time but you can. So to answer your question, yes, you can train your body to have a sexual response to gay porn even if you are straight. HOWEVER, the brain controls what makes you "horny" you can train your body to get an erection from gay porn (physical responses are much easier than mental) but the brain ultimately decides if you get horny or not. Since I'm still a first year psych major, based on my limited knowledge of the brain and more specifically the hypothalamus (which controls your sexual urges, it's what biologically decides if you're gay or straight), I cannot say whether you can train yourself to become horny because the hypothalamus to my limited knowledge is an involuntary organ, not a voluntary one like the penis.

Same with me, I am straight but enjoy watching some gay porn, my best answer is that we spend more time with boys then girls. so imagining you with a guy may be easier than with a girl. And you should try and experiment with guys although that you are straight. You can still jack off with each other, give each other handjobs or even blowjobs as long as you both know that you are positive that you are going to get in a love relationship with a girl.

Idunno, I think it's just a simple attraction? Hormones 'as they say'
However, you can train your body to like something else though, but your satisfaction will never be as great as what your body originally was attracted to, and your sexuality soley depends on who you would have a emotional relationship with.
Think of it like this.. would you ever get married to a guy? Or would you even love one? Not for me, even though I get turned on by gay porn.
Nobody is completely, straight, or completely gay, remember that.
