Pubic hair

Hi guys i'm 14 years old and i've only got a few strands - literally - of pubic hair near the base of my penis. How long will it take before it covers my pubic area?

Could take months, could take weeks, depends on how fast you hit puberty. I know when I started getting hair it started growing quickly.

If this helps i've had those few strands for around 2 months now and they have only grown a little longer and not many more have grown (2 months ago around 5-10 strands now 15-20)

I wouldn't be worried. Everyone has different growth rates. You'll get more pubes sooner or later.

Every one grows differnatly - I shave pits and pubes cos I cant stand it.

maybe in a few months it will grow but a lot is genetics really.

Wow, mine grew in so fast I never counted them, but everyone grows at different rates so it may take a while.

at the start of summer i really didn't have more than you do. went through a growth spurt and they grew in fast. above my penis i'm close to the same amount as my friends, but not very much on my scrotum yet. i'm pretty happy they finally started growing cause it seemed like they never would. hang in there and you'll get them when your body says it's time.

Don't worry about having pubes. Lol. I sure don't plus trust me it looks better when they are trimmed anyway.
And like I'm sure other people have said, everyone hits puberty at different times. My voice turned deeper at 13.. I was about 5'11" then too.. Now I am almost 17, 6'2" and don't really have too much facial hair, but I'm not worried about that I was just trying to comfort you. lol.

I started getting mine at around 12ish and like the others have said, it grows longer, then it slowly spreads out, give it like a year? But trust me, it gets pretty annoying at times :/
