What should I get my Mom and dad for their anniversary? I have about $20. I need some real good ideas. :) Thanks.

I don't see why you should get them anything. Between the two of them, I get it, it was an important millstone. I mean milestone. For everyone else, well it just seems like a commercially driven celebration to me. Something to celebrate the approximate date of your conception, might have more meaning to you. I feel the same about mothers and fathers day amongst others. Do not get it. The whole idea behind a lot of these things has been driven by the greeting cards industry trying to make money out of us. I say 'no' it stops here. Blame the recession. Blame the housing market. Blame falling exam standards. Also blame our major card company going bust.

Tell them you've put your $20 safely to one side to help fund you moving out of home.

Get them something like a scented candle or even chocolate, it sure would help them on their anniversary lol

Other than stuff like framed family photo I don't know what you'd get them, you should get them something personal or nothing at all. Or you know you could just vacate the house for the night leave them alone i'm sure they'd appreciate that. But really I doubt they'll be expecting anything from you rather just gifts from each other..

Ok, sounds good to me. I'll contact your mom and dad and tell them birthday presents for you are too commercial and are not required :P

Thanks for all the comments and ideas. I took Anthony's advice and got them a giftcard for dinner at Applebys. :)
