help choosing a digital camera

i want to buy a digital camera but i cant afford a lot .im thinking of joining a photography class and im a beginner so any suggestions?

What sort of camera are you looking for, an entry level DSLR? A bridge camera? Or an ordinary snap shot camera? Your best optIon would to probably go to your local camera store and ask for assistance.

From my personal experience to start off you should look at bridge cameras because they do similar stuff to a full DSLR but are not a advanced and are cheaper, they also give you the first steps in how to use a camera.
