Help with my firend

Before reading this note is going to be long... i think. Anyway my friend was kinda depressed or '' emo '' as some people say , and i went up to him and asked him what was wrong and he said he was gay for a guy he knew and i was like ok and said thats fine. Anyway a few days later i asked him about it and he said that he meant it as in bromance and i was like sure... I have been reading alot of things about gay people coming out and how they get depressed if they are holding the secret for so long. This was all before summer holidays and im going to see him for the first time in 3 months in 2 days. Should i ask him if he is gay or what? Do any of you think he might be gay for your own experiences with your own friends or even family. I really need advice on this because he is my firend and i want him to be happy and honest with me

Well first of all. Did he say he was gay for sure?

If he is for sure gay then just accept him for who he is. If he wants help asking the guy out. help him the same as if he was gonna ask a girl out.

Just ask him if he's alright, since he seems so down. Let him know that you're there for him, and that he can tell you anything. Let him know you care.
