Period or is something wrong with me...?

well this is embaressing but im sure everyone thinks it is...
i havent started my period yet and i had a stomach ache and went to the toilet before i went to bed and i wiped my bottom and noticed a tiny bit of blood im not sure what it is and i dont know wether i should tell my mum. :(

Well it sounds like you just might be starting your period! Either that or your hymen is a little teared (which would make it bleed) but I lean more towards your period starting a little bit. How old are you by the way? That would clear things up much easier.

It does sound like your period may be starting. You should absolutely talk to your mom about it, and maybe a doctor as well. See what she says. Whenever something is bothering you 'down there' it's a very good idea to talk to your mom- she's probably experienced what you have and can give you good advice.
