Is anyone here capable of playing this game without screaming... I jumped out of my skin so many times all thanks to that Slender guy popping out of nowhere and giving me the scare of my life.

When I played that game I was with my friends and it was like 1am and I screamed really loud. my mom and dad grounded me after all my friends left to go home because I woke up everyone in the house lmao but yeah I'm not going to lie I almost pissed my pants it freaked the fuck out of me!

That game is horrible. I don't understand how people scream and piss themselves over seeing a computer animated character with horrible graphics. You wander through the woods at the slowest god damned pace and can't see anything, and the notes take forever to find. Stupid game.
So yeah, to answer your question. I can play the game without screaming.

I am terrified while playing the game, but as you can tell from my sig... I absolutely love Slenderman! It's not the graphics or Slenderman that gets me; It's the feeling of being followed, or watched. It makes you paranoid. Walking around not knowing when or where he will get you. Every noise you hear you begin to think it might be him, or every little flash of white is his face! I'm a sucker for paranoia.

Nope. I jump when pewdiepie plays it, I swat at the screen when I play it, but I eat when my boyfriend plays it. I think it's more I'm so focused on him not getting me that when he pops up I lose that focus and get scared.

Slender was based off Marble Hornets youtube, and that is 1000 times scarier, and way more original. I doubt many of you slender fanboys have even heard of marble hornets.
Actually, I've watched plenty of Marble Hornets. For you information, the creepypasta of Slenderman has been around before Marble Hornets. Which really isn't that scary, as much as I do love Slenderman, there are far more frightening creepypasta.

Just because you've seen Marble Hornets doesn't mean most slender fans have. Minority doesn't represent the majority. While the creepypasta has been around longer, much of Slender gameplay was based off of Marble Hornets (Camera Static, drawings, etc.). The slenderman creepypasta is not scary at all. My personal favorite creepy pasta is Something on the tracks (or the rake). It[they] may not be the best but I believe it is somewhat good.

I eventually grew tired of Marble Hornets, and I never was a really huge fan of The Rake. I usually prefer the simple stuff. Ben Drowned is good, only if you are a Majora's Mask fan. But calling slender fans hipster, is a little harsh. I mean after all Slenderman, The Rake, and Jeff the Killer are the most popular of all the creepypasta.

I play BF3, and use teamspeak to communicate to the other players. So when I get upset, I mute my mic, and cuss a lot. Haha.

It started at the Something Awful forums, not youtube. I stoped watching those videos at around entry 26 because they were taking too long to post newer episodes and it was getting boring. I did learn about the game while talking to a friend about Amnesia.

In my opinion the Slenderman in the games are more scary than the creepypasta, marble hornets, and something awful ones. But to each their own, I just know I can't collect all the notes and scream when he pops up.

when i played that game so many times i paniced first time i played it was in the dark by myself and screamed. after playing that game if feels like i am being followed by him. i no he is real i just always have this weird feeling i am being watched though

It wasn't scary at all! Sad to see it's the only horror game people have played considering it's free. Amnesia is way better :/

Eh I kinda come from a superstitious culture, and things like the Slender man, The rake, and most of all the Wendigo scare the crap out of me, mainly cuz of the whole native thing, in1874 or around there a man named swift runner was at his home in the middle of winter and was only 25 miles away from an emergency food source, and he butchered his wife and 5 kids and ate their flesh and claimed to be possessed by the wendigo
