ok so i weight about 180,i'm 15 and 5'6"

i was wondering what kind of workout you guys do and how old and tall you are,and maybe some pointers from some fit people would help^_^

the thing is i only eat like once a day so.....losing the weight s hard for me

all my family is tall and i'm like super short but then again so is my dad,yet my brothers are like super tall so i was wondering if working out while your going through puberty can help.so...yea...thats pretty much it.....so ...help...^_^

Right, i cant Put up a Picture yet, because im not up to 10 posts, But im doing pretty good
I Do 500 crunches a day, 250 morning then night,
and 250 Pushups a day
eat 3 times a day, if you dont eat enough your backup fat comes into play and you basically get bigger
Well ill put up a photo for you soon,
It's pretty neat for just 1 month
And yeah, im 4'10''
And im 6 stone

well, if you only eat once a day its impossible to loose weight, breakfast starts your metabolism, which helps u loose weight, then skip lunch and eat dinner, skkipping lunch means that ur metabolism is helping u loose weight

Well i meant 6 stone as in my weight, Cause i think thats what this Topic is about, Hah your still bigger than me though ^.^ Im 13 years and 1 Month EXACTLY today,. And i eat like anyone else, 3 meals a day, but i don't have little snacks inbetween. It's good to get Calcuim and a bit of fat, cause i just work it all off y'see. Don't starve yourself, just eat.

you want to eat more meals a day (i would advise 4) but make them small and healthy. You want to go for a 15-20 minute jogg everyday at a brisk pace. And you want to do 50pushups and 50 sitsups everynight infront of your favourite television program. Then my friend the pounds will drop off. Trust me! :D

you need to run or swim or bike for at least half an hour 5 times a week. you need to push yourself until you feel your muscles start to burn.

ps. they will either feel sore or they will actually burn

oh and i awake up pretty late and go to work at like 5 and get out like at 11:30-12,thus explaining the 1 meal a day thing

So when i start school like into 2 weeks my schedule is gunna be hectic,i am a member of a gym
buts its a tad far from my house to walk + i can never get a ride.

Eat little meals of HEALTHY food throughout the day and do aerobic exercises with bursts of anaerobic once in a while. By this I mean running a slow, steady pace with a little uphill or a quick sprint.

Honestly, as queer as it sound, if you do aerobics you willl lose weight VERY quickly. I mean, I know guys don't exactly like the sound of doing aerobics but they really do get the pounds off you. Not to mention its wonderful for your cardiovascular health! Also, you need to eat more healthy meals. Its harder to shed the pounds if you don't eat (and eat healthy). By eating you'll get more metabolism.

you shouldnt realy worry about how much you weigh, but if your that worried, just do about 25 push ups when you wake up, and try to do a bit of working out throughout the day, like running, and dont take the easy way out of physical exercise

Weight is a serious issue. Push ups do not burn fat. He needs to run at a medium-high heart rate for at least 15 minutes daily. 30 would be better. Swimming is best.

really good things to do if you wanna lose weight is-1.eat 4 or 5 SMALL meals that are health 2.swim-bike-or just plain run. personly i owuld bike cause i can bike for like hours but if you a swimmer then eh ^^

Working out doesn't make puberty go any faster and doesn't make your dick any bigger.

1) I get active 5 times a week, for about an hour on each day from Monday to Friday.

On Mondays and Thursdays, I go in the weight room and work out my chest, shoulders and triceps with 5 sets of 10-12 reps on each muscle. On Tuesdays and Fridays, I work my back, legs and biceps for 5 sets of 10-12 reps on each muscle. On Wednesdays, I play basketball, run track or just do something that's a bit fun and rest up my muscles from the weights/machines

This is how our coach taught us, and this is the schedule for the entire weight training class in our school. He's a pretty smart coach, so I suggest that you go to your coach at school and ask him if you can start something! :D

2) You should definately eat more than once a day, no matter if you're hungry or not. If you're used to eating once a day, you need to get out of that habit. Eat 3 meals each day, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and eat healthy things. Preferably homeade things, which are the shit :D

3) Working out/weight training doesn't make you taller or grow faster in any way, and it doesn't stunt your growth either. It just makes you look hotter...which I'd take a hot guy over a tall guy any day (yeah I am a guy, and yeah I am gay)

Dont worry about height, you'll get taller as you get older. Im 13, 5'4 and 140 pounds. For one thing, you have to eat balenced meals. A HEALTHY breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and 1 or 2 snacks a day is a great way to lose weight. Not too much junk food. Just excercise (jogging, etc.) for about an hour a day. When you want to get stronger, do about 5 push ups a day for one week. Then, a week later do 10 push ups a day for a week. Do that until about 30, and then for 30 or higher a day. And most importantly, FOLLOW THROUGH! Dont quit, keep pushing for it.

First of all, eating only once a day is a bad idea. Weight loss (and the ability to keep it off) is acheieved my eating three moderately portioned meals per day. Some other important factors are getting enough sleep, increasing your water intake and regular exercise, such as power walking, or light jogging.
