For example: I feel that all life is special, as it is all a huge coincidence that we are here, and I don't want to end any life. This might sound weird, but before I shower/bath I rescue the bugs from the bath so they don't drown.

On a more human scale, I don't ever insult people or make them feel bad because I want them to live the happiest life possible. I am also accepting of any minorities (ethnic, sexual or whatever) and I try to help out the little people in life. e.g. talking to unpopular kids.

I know many Thiests share views like this but a lot do not, and don't even follow their own religions morals, and why bother? God forgives, right?

So what are your thoughts on your own morals, thiest or not?

Edit: Can a mod add "Morals" into the title after superior? Woops :S

My morals as an atheist? They're pretty basic but I prefer a simple life. Basically I follow:
Don't mess with them unless they mess with you.
Live life however you feel without doing harm to others or causing them anguish.
Mind your own business, it's not your life to live you've got your own.
Nothing but love is free so don't sit around waiting for what you won't get.
Try not to judge others before you know them.

Of course I'll break one once in awhile but I'm pretty good at keeping myself in line by those.
