This is a 'Thread' based on my own personal experiences and beliefs.
I've been to rock bottom a couple of times and it's one of the worst sensation you can ever humanly achieve. Now, I say 'sensation' because it's not just a feeling, it affects everything you do. When I was depressed I didn't want to eat, sleep, go to school, see/talk to anyone, I couldn't force myself to do anything, even the things that are routine.

How To Fix Depression:
Don't ever try to convince yourself that you're not depressed. If you're depressed, you're depressed, it could happen to any one good person. If you try to convince yourself that you're not depressed it'll only come back and hit you 20x harder later on. Admit it and work on solving the problems that are causing your pain. Try your best to go about fixing your problems peacefully. Don't go home and beat your little brother to a pulp because someone else pissed you off.

Step 1) If you do happen to need something to help blow off some steam, take it out on a nonliving object. I find portable air conditioners perfect for this. They're fairly cheap, about $15-$20 at WalMart, a nice sturdy aluminum baseball bat goes for about the same price, take your pick. Destroying things that you don't need makes a huge difference, at first you'll be upset, give it about 15 minutes and you'll feel increasingly better.

Step 2) Talk to someone about it. As much as your brain wants you to believe that no one cares, someone does. Be it your mamma, your dad or a good friend of yours. They understand, they've been there themselves.

Step 3) Think positive. As much as you don't wanna think that there's possibly anything positive left, there is. There's a whole world of 7 billion people that you haven't met yet. Mr./Ms. Perfect could be right around a corner waiting for you, get after him/her!

Step 4) Let everyone know. Tell everyone that you have daily interactions with, how you feel. Sure, your mamma might try to take you to the local shrink but, they're only trying to help you.

Step 5) Never forget that someone's always watching out for you, always!
Never, ever, forget it!

If you have any questions for me then send me a quick little message.
I'll try my best to be with you ASAHP. (As Soon As Humanly Possible)
Thanks :)
