I don't see how that would be weird at all. If you want to do it just do it :]

I've been debating the same thing. Mines just starting to fill out and looks a bit silly. I don't think it looks odd to shave but it depends how much body hair you have. If you look like a bear I would not recommend shaving

I keep the trail, shave everything else.
But it's getting to the point where I shave once a week,so I I'll just let it grow out.

It's not weird. I don't have any, but when I get it, I will probably shave.

I say go for it.
It's my opinion that we are the boss of our own bodies. We should be able to look however we want.

I say just go for it if you want to. If you don't like it, just let it grow back. If you like it, keep on shaving it. Personally I would never shave mine. It just wouldn't look right on me.

Yeah, I kinda noticed that. I don't have any yet, but I think I will keep mine if it ever comes in. Don't want a fur carpet though.

All that matters is how u feel don't worry about what others think. If u wanna shave, go ahead. But remember the hairs will grow back thicker

We're all in a hurry to grow up and when we do then we want to hide the effects of our new found maturity.

each to his own is what I say. There is nothing weird about shaving your chest.

I'm getting a little bit of dark hairs like a trail of my belly near my navel and I want it to hurry up because I like hair on my body. I like the feel of it. Any comments, feel free to write back.

I also today drew on myself with a black pen and shaded the areas of hair that will grow when my puberty is finished (chest, belly, navel, pubic area, armpits, face). Was this a mistake or was it good to have done? When I was finished I took all of my clothes off and liked how I looked. Is having hair on your body something you like or am I just weird? Please reply.

Its not weird at all. If you want to shave it then do it. There are lots of men that shave their chests out there

No, this is a myth. Hair is a structure made of dead cells that are formed in the follicle below the skin and are dead even before a hair becomes visible above the surface. There is thus no feedback mechanism for cutting these dead cells to affect the rate at which the follicle adds cells to the base of the hair.
Conversely waxing can weaken the hair follicle because it involves pulling hair out from beneath the skin, which can damage or kill off the follicle.
@OP - do whatever looks good. I can see why you might not like a little scraggly patch if you are otherwise not hairy, but imho a guy can look good with chest hair so it's really a matter of taste.

I have a little chest hair growing around my nipples and a trail starting to grow. I shave it all since it is gross. I don't want to see hair there and and I don't want a hairy chest. That is the only place I shave besides my face.

I always shaved it off for swimming, I never really had that much, but whatever I did, I shaved it off. Personally, even though I don't really need to shave it off anymore, I still prefer the look of it!
