I haven't got a clue if I am posting this in the right place or not so sorry if I am wrong. I have been told by many people that I am morbid and I have no idea what that means. It sounds like something depressing and bad to me so that's why I thought I should ask this here. I have tried looking up the definition and it makes no sense to me. I was wondering if someone could tell me what it means in words I can actually understand? WHat do people mean when they tell me that? I feel like they Re insulting me somehow...

Morbid describes a connection with things that have to do with death or disease. (adjective)
An example of morbid is someone who is constantly thinking about and talking about death.
According to a simplified definition. I could be said to a morbid person because I have an obsession with death, serial killers and all that. I don't think you should take offensive. But if you do, and aren't morbid, you should say something.

Its not very nice of them too and as Kry. said the definition... and try to not take it personally. But yes just talk to them about it... I dont understand why they even call you that.

Okay thanks you guys. I do think about death and dying more than I should but not in a good way I'm kinda terrified of death and dying and I definitely do not have an obsession over it. I think that maybe like me they didn't know exactly what the word means and the way they sound when they say it seems like they are meaning that I look miserable or something. Either way they are wrong.

We all kinda think about it alot at times... some more than others so its okay you do, its nothing wrong. They could of just thought you look down and everything and used the word in a backwards way would make more sense, yes. You dont really seem like someone that would obsess over death or be very sad.
