I was having dinner at my girlfriend Mariah's house like I have many other times. When both of us were done eating she asked if we could go up to her room. They let us. When we were looking at youtube videos on her laptop, (cat videos) her mom and dad came running in demanding "what the hell we thought we were doing." It just so happened that my arm was on her shoulders as hers was on my shoulders. They said they heard thumping coming from upstairs. (Like we would do that when they are around...) anyway I told them that we had heard the noise too and that it was just the washing machine acting weird. We showed them one of the videos and they seemed to had forgotten about it. I can understand that if they were right outside the door and heard thumping they would have to come rushing in but seriously...Other things like this have happened as well. It's not severe enough for me to end the relationship but seriously... Anyone else have this problem?

It happens man. Don't let it put a damper on your relationship. Just be kind and respectful to her folks .dont give them a single reason to distrust or dislike you.

Yeah, they know I'm a nice guy. Plus there's the fact that we've been together for a year and a half now so it would be weird if they didn't think we wanted sex.

I've gone through that before. It even took my girlfriend's parents like 3 months of us dating before I could even set foot in her room lol

Just be a gentleman. Don't give them reason to stop trusting you. The longer you date the easier it gets. Then after you date for a while it gets harder because they expect you to be having sex already if you've dated that long lol I still haven't figured out this part
