I accidentally deleted my recycle bin from my registry. Ha.
Now when i delete files, they are permanently deleted. I know this because a theme i use with rainmeter is still able to direct me to my recycle bin folder, but i can't get to any of the property menus to change the settings.

So is there a way to edit my recycle bin properties without having to do a system restore?

UPDATE: I was able to configure my recycle bin settings via control panel. Don't ask me why i didn't try that before posting this, as i have no idea. Mods feel free to delete. Thanks :)

The Recycle Bin isn't a Registry value, so you couldn't have deleted it "from" the Registry. You probably disabled it somehow, as Windows provides an option for that. You should always backup your Registry before you edit it.

I remember deleting the recycle bin via the registry, i had gone in to edit the name and ended up deleting the whole entry. Problems fixed now though. :)
