Hi, I am a 14 year old boy and I am bisexual. I go to a school in the south so gays here are hated on here very much, pretty much the same as everywhere, lol. I am not out of the closet though. I don't think many people would even think I am bi. I use to act very gay in grade school but after realizing what everyone thought of me I just learned to act like everyone else. No body would really suspect anything now. I feel like the only one that's bi though. The only one that wouldn't be afraid to be in a relationship with a guy. The only one that thinks these weird thoughts about other guys. By thoughts, like imagining what a relationship would be like with certain guys, sex, and stuff like that. I know everyone says all guys think these thoughts but it doesn't really seem like that's true. I do think several guys in my grade are gay though. Probably wouldn't ever come out either. I try to talk to the ones I think are gay as much as I can because I sorta want to know more about them. I am really the only gay/bi guy I know and just want to be close friends with one. I basically just want people to be more open about it. And even if I was close friends, I think they would be terrified to say yes if I asked about them being gay. If someone asked me, who was a close friend, and I also thought was gay, I would tell the truth. I feel very uncomfortable asking how far someone would go with a guy or maybe even asking to "experiment". I just think "But what If this guy is creeped out, tells his friends, and they all don't wanna be friends with me anymore." I really want to be in a relationship with a guy, even if it was just us two knowing about it. I just don't know how to find out if someone is gay and get out the real truth from them. I've noticed them hinting towards it, but never admitting it. I really have a lot of questions to ask involving this topic. So here's the poll.

I wouldn't. I would just let him know he's free to be comfortable and honest around me and, if he is gay, let him come out on his own terms. I hate when I'm asked if I'm gay or straight, so I would be a hypocrite to ask the same to others. People need to come to their sexuality on their own without being pestered about it or pressured into coming out.

Sometimes, but I got over it. I don't like labels or labeling myself, so I don't care much about sexuality. When I stopped giving a damn about calling my gay or bi, the worries kind of faded. I don't care about being the only gay one or what others may think of me. I'm being myself and liking who I want to like. It's easier than worrying about what others may think of you.

Not too sure. I might hint around at the subject if I'd known him for a long time, there was nobody listening, and he'd made gay jokes in the past... would say something like "You can tell me. I don't go around blabbing secrets". I might come out to them first if I think they are gay, but that might not be the best idea for you cause it could be a terrible mistake :).

I do know lots of friends who make all sorts of gay jokes and "I'll X your Y" jokes. I would probably just keep going with the jokes and see if they are comfortable with them. Maybe turn it into an innocent question.
