Tomorrow is judgement day for the people expecting they're GCSE results. Here is a thread where you can discuss how you're feeling and if you want to on the day tell everyone your grades, however do not feel pressured into doing so.

I am actually so nervous for tomorrow, if I don't get the GCSE's I need I won't be able to get into College and I haven't got a backup plan. Fingers crossed I'll get what I want! Good luck to everyone else as well, I'm sure you'll do great!

Mixed results....

Physics B WOOOP A-level physics here I come.
ChemistryB
Biology B
Engineering* D
Applied Business D Now for a completely new subject that isn't bad...

All other subjects e.g English and maths were previously completed;

English LangB
English LitC
MathsC
GeogrpahyC
ICT'Pass'

*Now I don't usually make excuses, I am just not very good at the subject. I should have tried just a bit harder. Maybe (I did try so I am pleased I didn't fail.)

Although, in my defense my friend who get's A's or A*'s in everything only got a C in engineering. I saw his coursework folder, It was twice the size of mine and immaculate.

May I blame the teacher?

A* History
A* Geography
A* Physics
A* Biology
A Chemistry
A English Language
A English Literature
A Mathematics
A German
C Music

(+) A AS Use of Mathematics
(+) Distinction in BTEC ICT

English Language has had some abnormalities in the results marked though... I was given a C on one exam and an A* on one I sat straight after the other, so it's getting remarked and I was 1UMS from an A* so that'll be an A* too I'm 99% sure. Chemistry was also 1 UMS point off an A*...

While the results I'm fairly happy with, what I'm really happy with are the results of the final exams I did.... cause I pissed around in Year 10 a lot, these show I can get good exam results (the end grades were kinda brought down by my Year 10 coursework/modular exams)

FSMQ Decision Maths: A, 93%
FSMQ Finance: A, 83%
FSMQ Use of Mathematics: B, 75%

So the overall grade came to an A grade, which is good. There is no A* obviously.

Biology Unit 3: A*, 96%
Chemistry Unit 3: A*, 100%
Physics Unit 3: A*, 100%

History, American Development: A*, 100%
History, Investigation Development: A*, 100% (super proud of these two!)
Geography: A, 80%

English Lang Reading: 27/40, C [this needs to be remarked, it's almost certainly wrong]
English Lang Writing: 37/40, A*

English Literature: 67/80, A [thought this would be an A*, but not sure if it's worth getting remarked]

A in Computing (Pilot)
> This was the first year to take the GCSE 'watered-down' version of the A level course Computer Science. This GCSE is now extinct as it has been formally renamed to Computer Science. An A* in ICT is equivalent to a D in Computing.

B in Chemistry, Maths, English Literature, Music and Electronic Products (Technology)

C in English Language
> That bit puzzled me as it showed I received only B grades in all of my english language modules, yet received a C.

C in Religious Studies
> Lol, was expecting a fail.

C in Physics and Biology

D in Spanish
> Expected.

D in Drama
> This was the one I was pissed off the most, and many people were too. The entire portion of the year was expected 2 grades higher than was given. I was expecting a B, whereas some of my friends expected A's and were given C's. There are currently many complaints regarding this.

I can't say I'm dissapointed nor pleased with the results. They are pretty bad results, however my main purpose was to be accepted into my schools sixth form, which I thankfully did.

Well I only had my Year 10 results, so it was a B in Core Science, and a B in History, but that one's only 25%.
