It looks like you have everything nailed. Once you lose a lot of weight you could work out too.

Not much else to say really. You can try some push-ups, squats, and pull-ups when you feel comfortable. Make sure to eat plenty of proteins and healthy fats. Carbs are up to you, but I felt better when I lowered my carb intake.
If you can stay motivated then losing weight isn't too hard. If you ever feel like giving up, talk to some friends or post on here again. Some members are great motivators.
Honestly, I wish you the best of luck. It's not easy, but losing weight is worth it to truly be healthy, so you can do it.

Hey if you want to talk about loosing weight or need a sort of "partner" for it you could add me. I to have decided to lose weight I'm like 6' and around 280. I have started running a mile at least 2 times a week and also I have been doing 15-30 "wall-ups" (I'm not that good at push-ups yet) but I do those when I wake up, before bed, and just random times throughout the day. Something that I have found that really motivates me is what I think is a reasonable goal. Losing 2 punds every week. By next year you would have lost 104 pounds. And its just such a small number to lose. Cutting the unhealthy stuff such as soda and sweets I think are a good way to easily cut out some calories daily. Good luck I think it would be best if you write it down or talk with a friend about it. In the beginning of August I was running a mile everyday with a friend of mine, but he stopped and eventually so did I. I am recently getting back into it(last week is when I started working out again) so yeah. Sorry about the huge wall of text haha

eat smaller meals, and eat every few hours, helps keep ur body going, its ok to eat carbs and such if ur being active and working out otherwise keep them lower and make sure u get ur protein and veggies. id say only drink water, about 4L a day and take a multivitamin. and dont feel bad if ur goal isnt reached super fast, it took a long time for u to get that way so its going to be a bit for u to change

Yeah, first need to loose a good amount of weight from your eating and walking! When you feel physically ready, start working out!

You COULD do small workouts even now, it would speed up the process. Or do low carb diet and that could help too, but if you do low carb dont workout
