M'kay im not sure if this should go here, but here it goes..

So awhile ago my dad left, then my parents got a divorce, which i havent a problem with, truthfully it was expected. Then my brother left for a mission trip for 6 months. When he came back things were good, then he left to go live with other people and he stopped calling and stopped almost all contact with my mom, but he's hanging out with my dad like everyday. So its like we've become two teams competing against each other. Team Dad and Team Mom. Me of course being on team mom..
Now things have gotten so awkward i guess or something.. Because my dad REFUSES to talk to my mom, he wont talk to her what so ever making me have to tell her, which at first wasnt a problem but its so aggravating now because he makes decisions with consulting my mom and doesnt tell her anything for example: He bought me a phone and put me on his plan without tellig my mom and she got very upset because it costs like $100 or something to take me pff her plan.. I have a few others but i wont bore you with them.
Now I've become the "official messenger" aparently, nobody will talk to anyone and i have to be the one to talk for them.
Today my mom told me to tell my brother something and i hung up and almost cried cuz im just so irritated with this and.. I dunno.. Btw i dont cry hardly ever. /:
Has anyone else experienced this? Being the messenger?

Sorry for the long read:(

I have. Not in your exact situation but one day I snapped.

They are adults. They have mouths and they're capable of speech. Why should I, the child at the time, have to be the one to speak for the adults? It was a pathetic example to set, "Hey I'm all grown-up but I refuse to speak for myself or at least be mature an reasonable." and I was sick of it. My aunt told me to tell my mom something and I guess my head spun backwards and I floated to the ceiling to snarl at her but I told her straight up "I am not your flying monkey. You're an adult so you're going to act like one, I'm only 16, if you don't like it too bad for you. I've got enough on my plate without being responsible for you communication or lack there of. If my mom doesn't want to listen to you, fine her call. If you're going to revert back to being 5 and lose your voice, that's not my issue. It's your's. Whatever's going on is between you and my mom, I'm not in the middle any longer. You handle everything between yourselves I'm done."
It was THE proudest moment of my life at the time. I'll never forget it.

So I'm just here to say that you have the option of no. Unless it's something regarding your safety, phone, food, education, finances or whatever, you don't have any responsibility in this thing between your, adult, parents.
